Coconut Chocolate Six Layer Cookies

They look complicated, but these outrageously decadent cookies couldn’t be easier. Be sure to buy the best ingredients you can find for each of the layers, including fresh walnuts and flaked coconut.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) Unsalted Danish Creamery European Style Butter
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup (6-8 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cups (3 ½ ounces) flaked coconut
  • 14 ounces can (1 ¼ cups) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Melt butter in 9×13-inch baking pan in the preheating oven.
  • Remove pan from the oven and sprinkle or pour the remaining 5 ingredients into the pan in even layers: first graham cracker crumbs, followed by chocolate chips, coconut, sweetened condensed milk and finally the chopped nuts.
  • Bake 20–25 minutes or until the top is browned. Cool before cutting into bars.
